Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) are a class of copolymers or a physical mix of polymers (usually a plastic and a rubber) which consist of materials with both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. Thermoplastic elastomers show advantages typical of both rubbery materials and plastic materials. TPEs are used where conventional elastomers cannot provide the range of physical properties needed in the product. These materials find large application in the automotive sector & in household appliances sector.
KAPL has developed a range of antioxidants which are specially designed to maximise the product lifetime by developing properties including heat, colour and processing stability when the product is subjected to extreme conditions and high temperatures.
In many countries CRISTOL TNPP is approved in the manufacture of food packaging materials and is frequently combined with non-toxic Ca / Zn – Stabilisers.
